With a clear weekend we finally saw a good number of auctions.

A clearance rate of 59% was achieved and it appears the market whilst not perfect across the board is starting to come out the other side from the Royal Commission.

There is still a lot of negative talk in the media surrounding what is actually occurring but the topic no one ones to talk about is that the property market isn’t all the same.

The fact that area’s like Elwood don’t perform the same as Taylors Lakes seems to escape the media as they think everything moves as one, who would of thought that even in Elwood apartments perform differently to houses and thus different areas will perform differently, strange I know.

Out on the ground it appears there are more people out and about in certain pockets not across aboard and there is good confidence for the right properties in the right areas.

Until we have honesty in reporting about the property market instead of click bait people will continue to get bad information.
