With the end of the Auction Calendar now upon us it was good to see one of the strongest clearance rates in recent times.

With a clearance rate of 53% achieved over the weekend we are by no means out of the woods yet.

As we wind up for the Christmas break not everything is sunshine and rainbows.

Whist there has been pockets of cooling properties in the market, as I have said before I believe this is due to the lack of available finance in the market place.

Obviously most people can still obtain finance but it is taking longer than previously and you are required to give the bank much more information.

Hopefully as we head into 2019 we will see the banks loosen up their finance a little bit and this let the property market regulate itself.
