Well another round of auctions in the dead of winter have been run and won.

The clearance rate is now looking stable in the low mid 70’s with a clearance rate of 72% achieved this weekend.

With less than 400 auctions being conducted it is very hard to say that we are back in business but the signs are very positive.

What will be the best test is when we have more good quality property available and we return to seeing around the 1000 auction mark each weekend.

With a reducing amount of stock and an increase in the availability of finance and lower interest rates I am not doing the dance of joy just yet.
