Well well well another weekend with a clearance rate at or above 60% was achieved this weekend.

What does that mean for the property market, it means we are starting to see people out buying again and competing for good property.

I was at an auction for a client on the weekend and was asked by a potential purchaser “why are people bidding so strongly at this auction, I thought the property market was stuffed” I asked where they had heard that and of course the response was “the Media”.

What I explained was good properties always bring out the buyers and recently we have had a low level of available homes and even lower levels of good quality properties available.
As we now head into the Winter market we are finally starting to see an increase in the numbers of available good quality stock.

This means we are now seeing more people come into the market, the mainstream media always seem to forget that if there is a low level of quality property available people wont buy and sell as readily as there is nothing for them to upgrade to or invest in.

Sadly though the people that listen to the wrong advice are usually the ones that need the best advice .
