With a bit of a distraction this weekend due to the Federal Election we saw a reduced number of auctions being conducted.

The clearance rate was 65% none the less which is fantastic.

More importantly we saw a clear result in the election which should bring certainty back to the property market.

What does this mean, well with no changes to CGT or Negative Gearing we should see some confidence return.

One of the biggest issues we face in investment markets and it doesn’t matter if they are shares, cars, property or art is uncertainty as it makes people nervous.
