With another strong weekend of auction results do we now need to talk about a stable property market.

One of the things that I really enjoy as an advocate who actually spends their life looking at the property market and understanding how it operates and that there are different markets within the general market is watching all the so-called experts get it wrong.

Sadly, though when these so-called experts get it wrong it usually hurts those that can least afford to be hurt the most as they aren’t the ones to seek independent tailored advice.

What does this all mean?

Well over the years I have noticed that the big media companies and the experts like to make grand sweeping statements of either predicting doom and gloom or boom and growth.

Sadly, it’s never that simple.

I always say advice is worth what you pay for it and in the case of the property market I find more often than not the so-called experts and nothing more than media mouth pieces who actually have little or no idea what is occurring in the market.

As we now start to see the start of the Spring market it will be interesting to see if we see more stock become available as that will be the real test as we still have relatively low auction numbers being conducted.
