With the Spring Market in full flight we have seen some great results and confidence returning to the market.

A clearance rate of 72% was achieved on the weekend, with slightly lower auction numbers than anticipated.

As we storm towards my favourite time of year, the Christmas property market we should see the clearance rate hold steady and a possible increase in prices as some purchasers start to panic.

Why is the Christmas property market my favourite time, well it is when you can put deals together as the agents and vendors want to sell without having to wait till February next year. So if you don’t buy or sell during the auction season there is always the chance over Christmas.

With only 3 auction weekends left we should start to see properties coming up for auction next year, these properties can offer a great opportunity to get into the market without having to go to auction.
